Editorial Policy

Sponsored content

We do not accept paid placements, sponsored articles or editorial favours. Mint Bet pays referral commission on new accounts, but has no say over our scoring, pros, cons or verdict. We mark affiliate links with a short disclosure above the first CTA on every money page. Readers should assume that any "Visit Mint Bet" button on this site is an affiliate link. This disclosure is a plain-English note, not legal boilerplate, and it is the same wording on every page.

Sources

Primary source for operator-specific facts is the operator itself — the Mint Bet bonus page, terms page and cashier. Regulatory information is checked against the issuing authority (for Mint Bet, the Curacao gaming authority). Responsible gaming figures come from Gambling Help Online and BetStop. For responsible-gaming claims we quote the authority directly rather than paraphrasing — Gambling Help Online for Australian helpline numbers, the Australian Communications and Media Authority for BetStop. For operator-specific claims we quote the operator's own pages and keep screenshots in the editorial archive.

Update cycle

Reviews are refreshed when the operator changes a material fact (bonus, payment method, licence) and otherwise at least every six months. The last-updated date is printed under each article heading. In practice most Mint Bet pages are refreshed more often than the six-month minimum, because the welcome offer and the app build change several times a year. When a page is refreshed, the author initial and date are shown at the bottom of the page, and the previous version is kept in the editorial archive for one year.

Complaints about content

If you think something on the site is factually wrong, write to the editorial email with the page URL and a source we can check. Confirmed errors are corrected within three business days and the change is noted at the bottom of the page. Confirmed factual errors trigger a correction note at the bottom of the page and, when the error is material (a wrong bonus amount, a wrong payout timing), a one-line note at the top of the page for seven days. We do not quietly rewrite the page as if nothing happened.

Principles

Three rules: facts are checked against primary sources, affiliate commission does not affect the verdict, and anything the editorial team would not stand behind on record does not go on the site.

Fact checking

The fact-checker signs off every review before publication and every revision. We keep a spreadsheet of operator-specific facts (bonus, limits, apps) so that a change on the Mint Bet site is picked up on the next monthly check.
